15 years ago Amber and I were on our honeymoon when we first dreamed of making hammocks. We sat on the beach in St Martin and couldn’t figure out why we couldn’t purchase a locally produced hammock as a souvenir. After many years, we decided to finally open a hammock shop. Instead of St. Martin we chose our local beach of Surf City NC. Our roots grow deep in Pender County and our ancestors were local craftsman all the way back in 1749.
